Pragmatic Communications Systems (Santa Clara, Calif.) introduced The SIWA (Stereo In-Wall Audio Amplifier), a compact stereo amplifier, which is part of the company’s Hideaway Series.

The new amplifers (2.5×3.5×3 inches; WxHxD) deliver 24, 36 or 48 watts per channel of continuous power. The SIWA is two discrete monoblock amplifiers in an in-wall case. The unit accepts any volume controlled line-level stereo (or mono) input via gold-plated phono inputs. Outputs are offered via high-quality, gold-plated, five-way binding posts. Powered is supplied via 12 to 15 VDC, depending on the power of the amplifier. Advanced protection circuitry guards against damage from overload, excessive temperatures or short circuits.

The SIWA is available for immediate delivery and is backed by a two-year warranty.
