Based on the overall design of the Sennheiser HD 600, the dynamicopen-air HD 650 combines an extremely flat frequency response (10 to39,500 Hz/-10 dB) with natural dynamics, superior resolution and asmooth, uncolored sound. The biggest difference comes in the newmodel’s enhanced bass response, an upgraded cable and reduceddistortion in the high frequencies.

HD 650 features include hand-selected, matched transducers withtight tolerances (+/1 dB); computer-optimized magnet systems forminimizing harmonic and intermodulation distortion; extremelylightweight aluminum voice coils; neodymium-ferrous magnet systems;specially developed acoustic silk provides uniform damping over itsentire frequency range and minimizes intermodulation and harmonicdistortion; extremely natural, spatial sound image; balanced, crispbass and deep bass reproduction’ specially developed OFC coppercable, Kevlar-reinforced, eliminates handling noise; gold-plated1/4-inch jack plug with adapter lead to 3.5mm jack plug; and a two-yearwarranty.
