At this year’s NAB, StageTec Mediagroup will focus on its digital mixing consoles AURUS, CANTUS and C.A.S. MIX 64 4/02/2004 7:00 AM Eastern

At this year’s NAB, StageTec Mediagroup will focus on itsdigital mixing consoles AURUS, CANTUS and C.A.S. MIX 64, as well asNEXUS audio routers and highly specialized intercom systemsmanufactured by DELEC, a member of the Mediagroup since 2002.

StageTec will show the AURUS console (pictured above), whichfeatures an analog-style surface with full instant control to themixing functions by implementing space-saving dual encoders in thechannel strips. AURUS was introduced to the market in summer 2003 andsince then, 19 consoles have already been sold to worldwidecustomers.

Also on display will be the digital routing system NEXUS (pictured,right), which has already been installed at 20th Century Fox Studios(Hollywood), Skywalker Ranch (Marin County, Calif.), Warner Bros.Studios (Burbank, Calif.) and ESPNews. New features for NEXUS includesa new AES/EBU input card with AES42 option for digital microphones.

Another highlight will be the digital intercom system IC48 MK II,developed and manufactured by DELEC. New features include the FOCRouter to expand the system to 2,048 members/subscribers, the PCsubscriber unit, the telephone extension and new control functions.
