Meyer Sound will hold an open house demo of the new MILO high-powercurvilinear array system at Summer NAMM. The three eight-hour, hands-onsessions are free and open to all sound industry professionals,including NAMM attendees.

The open house will be held in the spacious Soundcheck rehearsalfacility, located at 750 Cowan St. in Nashville. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6p.m. on Thursday, and noon to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.Refreshments will be served throughout, and as there is no set program,those attending may come and go as they wish.

The open house will feature a working array of MILO cabinets andM3D-Sub directional subwoofers scaled to the size of Soundcheck’sRoom A, its largest rehearsal room. Meyer Sound’s tour soundliaison, Buford Jones, will host the event along with Greg McVeigh,director of U.S. sales, and Rick Coleman, southeastern regional salesmanager.

“This open house is an opportunity for people in the industryto have some hands-on time with MILO,” said Jones. “Theycan listen to playbacks of any music they want to bring along and dosome tweaking to see how it responds. We will also pull the system downand put it back up a few times to demonstrate the ease and flexibilityof the QuickFly rigging system.” DiGiCo will also be on hand toprovide one of its new D5 Live consoles for use during thedemonstration sessions.
