Tannoy Distributed Designer (TDD) is a design verification software that enables system designers and specifiers to quickly and accurately lay out and confirm ceiling distributed speaker system designs using Tannoy speaker products.

Designed for systems running under Windows (98/2000/XP), TDD comes pre-loaded with all Tannoy ceiling speaker models. A simple user interface allows inexperienced users to quickly lay out a ceiling-mounted speaker system to cover nearly any size room.

Room definition and drawing is fully automated, requiring the user to just enter the room’s dimensions and ceiling height. Preferences can be set for listening height, project name, date and designer’s name. Once the room is defined and the desired speaker model is selected the software automatically calculates the number of speakers required and positions them correctly.

Extensive options are included to allow the designer to fine-tune the speaker system layout. Speaker layout patterns may be square or hexagonal, and speaker overlap is fully adjustable. All system details are displayed in the program and may be printed for presentation to clients and installers.
