Foo Fighters 2015 Tour

The Foo Fighters’ summer and fall 2015 tour through North America will be remembered for Dave Grohl’s throne at centerstage, which allowed Grohl to heal the right leg he’d broken during a show on June 12 in Gothenburg, Sweden, while continuing to perform with his band. Mix magazine saw the Foo Fighters’ Pacific Northwest stop in September at the Gorge Amphitheatre, a 27,500-seat outdoor concert venue in Quincy, Washington, near the Columbia River.

Delicate Productions, based in Camarillo, Calif., provided the Foos’ sound system, featuring an L-Acoustics P.A. system comprising K2 and K1 boxes, the latter provided in partnership with Special Event Services of Winston-Salem, N.C. Front-of-house engineer Bryan Worthen mixes on a DiGiCo SD5 console, while monitor engineer Ian Beverage helms a Midas Pro9. The band has long endorsed Sennheiser microphones.
