Eighth Day Sound On “Board” with Yamaha PM10

BUENA PARK, Calif. (April 28, 2016)—Eighth Day Sound (Highland Heights, Ohio) has added the new Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 Digital Audio Console to its tour rental inventory. Founded in 1980, Eighth Day Sound has grown into a global company that routinely provides services to the world’s best musical artists from The Who, Madonna, Kings of Leon, Beyonce’, Drake, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Rihanna and Taylor Swift, to festivals including Bonnaroo, Hangout, Governors Ball, Electric Forest, as well numerous special events.  The company also has an installed sound division that specializes in permanent solutions for live sound environments.

According to Jack Boessneck, Executive Vice President, the decision to add a RIVAGE PM10 to its already impressive inventory was based on the reputation of Yamaha consoles. “Whenever Yamaha releases a new “flagship” console, the live sound industry always pays attention. It seems that over the years, Yamaha has produced more “industry accepted standard” consoles than anyone. And, with our long-standing relationship, becoming an Ambassador Dealer made perfect sense in order to service our customers’ needs.”

Boessneck added that the Eighth Day crew is raving about the sonic quality of the PM10.  “Some have said it feels very familiar and not intimidating; the best Yamaha console ever. They also like the Rupert Neve Designs plug-ins along with the SILK processing technology.”
