Select G.A.N.G. Scholars to Attend GameSoundCon 2016

High-achieving sound design and audio programming students can apply for a free all-access pass to GameSoundCon in Los Angeles this September.

The GameSoundCon conference for videogame music and sound is participating in the G.A.N.G. Scholars Program and will provide select five highly motivated and high-achieving full-time music and sound design or audio programming students with free all-access passes to this year’s conference.

G.A.N.G. Scholars will be selected by the Game Audio Network Guild Advisory Board from among completed applications. In addition to the conference pass, an industry mentor from the G.A.N.G. Advisory Board or Board of Directors will be paired with the Scholar. The mentor and Scholar will meet during the conference in order to ensure the recipient gets the most out of the conference and also to answer general industry questions they might have.

G.A.N.G. Scholars show their commitment to both game audio and scholarship by submitting an application including academic sponsor, GPA, course study as well mandatory essays on how they feel attending the conference or event will impact them and their future in the industry.

The application process opened on May 30 and ends on June 30, 2016. GameSoundCon will notify the chosen applicants on July 18.
