Fertig has more than 10 years of experience in production and streaming live events, having produced hundreds of hours of entertainment, sports, news, government, nonprofit and business communications for clients including NBC, FOX, MTV, CBS, NFL, NHL, NASA, Salesforce, the White House, the Federal Reserve and U.S. House of Representatives. In addition to his technical background, Fertig works closely with virtually every department in the organization as well as external customers and prospects to drive overall product direction and gather market research. His wide range of responsibilities has helped shape his understanding of the industry, from the technical product requirements to overall business drivers.

Fertig is responsible for managing the Ustream Certified program, which features direct Ustream connection on cameras and encoders made by Samsung, Panasonic, Logitech, JVC and Teradek and the NewTek TriCaster.
