Junta Yamazaki (Conference Systems Department)Toronto, Canada (November 24, 2010)—Adamson System Engineering has named Matsuda Trading Corporation as its exclusive distributor in the Japanese market.

MTC already represents Lab.gruppen, Turbosound and Tannoy, and lists Adamson as its exclusive pro speaker brand.

MTC first took interest in Adamson after meeting at a series of trade shows. Jesse Adamson, Adamson’s Director of Marketing and Sales, recalled, “I was introduced to MTC by a mutual friend. It was clear from our first meeting that there was a great connection between Adamson and MTC. We have a similar vision of the marketplace and how to put Adamson where it belongs in Japan. To start, we plan to offer an introduction seminar in Japan in the new year. We are looking forward to a strong future with a strong partner like MTC.”

MTC’s first order of business is to get the product out to the public, and Interbee, which took place in Tokyo from November 17 to the 19th, 2010 marked the first glimpse of Adamson speakers for many Japanese end-users, consultants and systems integrators.

With 31 years in the business, Matsuda provides AV systems solutions for Touring, Corporate, Broadcast, and Conferencing. Besides consulting and sales, Matsuda’s 30-member staff offers system design, installation, calibration, and after sales service and support for the Installation market, as well as system support for the live sound market.

Yasuhiro Matsuoka of MTC Japan commented, “Adamson has a strong line of products. But in addition to the existing range, there are some exciting products on the horizon. We can’t wait for the release of Project Energia. Adamson has really taken things to another level.”
