Paris, France (July 15, 2013)—French loudspeaker manufacturer Amadeus outfitted the EDM stage at this year’s “Fete de la Musique” event in Paris, testing its prototype Maestro subwoofers for a crowd of 10,000 people in attendance.

Amadeus provided integrated sound reinforcement for the numerous performing DJs, including Michael Canitrot, Nico de Andrea, Gregori Klosman and Tristan Garner, with a combination of Amadeus Diva XL array systems, PMX 15 coaxial speaker systems, and Maestro subwoofers. The Maestro subwoofer is the newest to Amadeus’ line, offering dual high-linear excursion 15-inch horn-loaded speakers mounted in a push-pull mode.

Commenting on the Amadeus live sound setup, DJ Michaël Canitrot said, “I was very impressed by the power, the pureness and the spectral quality of the Amadeus live sound system throughout the whole listening area. For my music, a high-fidelity reinforcement of bass matching the sound I prefer, and that was recorded in the studio, is important, especially when I play a huge live show.”

“The Fete de la Musique was an another opportunity to evaluate the Maestro prototype that we have worked on for over six years through similar large scale events,” explained Gaetan BYK, Marketing Manager at Amadeus. The prototype Maestro subwoofers were placed on the ground, complementing the Amadeus Diva XL array speaker systems hung above on stage rigging. Also at the EDM stage were several PMX 15 coaxial speaker systems to fill in the sound in particular close to stage listening areas.
