Stow, OH (October 15, 2019) Audio-Technica U.S. announced Friday that it was closing its subsidiary company Alteros, effective immediately “due to corporate strategic decisions.”
Alteros Debuts Direct-to-Fiber Extension
Founded in September 2016, Alteros focused on creating high-end wireless products, specifically its GTX Series wireless system, which brought a unique technology solution to organizations experiencing spectrum difficulties. With the closing of the subsidiary, all manufacturing and development of Alteros products will end.
Audio-Technica U.S. will take the product line in-house and will provide warranty and support for existing customers. Transferring inventory of product and parts to Audio-Technica U.S. will enable the fulfillment of existing orders and commitments. The Alteros team will train and equip qualified service and support personnel, allowing continuation of service.
