Burlington, MA (October 23, 2012)—Avid will present a Live Sound Webinar with FOH/studio engineer Paul David Hager (Goo Goo Dolls, Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne, Devo) on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. PT. The event will be hosted by veteran live sound engineer and Avid senior market specialist Robert Scovill.
In the webinar, Hager will discuss his techniques for bringing the clarity and depth of the recording studio to the concert stage, and demonstrate how he uses his favorite plug-ins to re-create the sound of album recordings in the live environment. He will also cover how he uses the Virtual Soundcheck feature in Venue to refine his mixes by using a multitrack Pro Tools recording of a previous live performance in place of the actual performers. A live Q&A session will follow the presentation.
