New York, NY (April 25, 2014)—Avid Venue live sound desks and its plug-in architecture will be the main focus of a webinar to be held May 1, 2014 at 1:00 pm ET, featuring veteran sound engineer Robert Scovill (Tom Petty, Def Leppard, Prince, Rush) and McDSP founder Colin McDowell.
The webinar will offer a hands-on overview of Avid’s on-board plug-in architecture, demonstrate how Venue plug-ins work for live sound mixing, and explore the technical side of Avid’s AAX plug-in format. Avid live systems run the same plug-ins used in Pro Tools, allowing engineers to choose the plug-ins that best meet their needs.
