Church PA Feels Power

Resurrection Power Church in Ohio recently upgraded its audio system—an effort that included a new dBTechnologies DVA line array system.

Gahanna, OH (June 13, 2011)–Resurrection Power Church in Ohio recently upgraded its audio system—an effort that included a new dBTechnologies DVA line array system.

Specified by local company Metro Audio Video LLC, the system comprised of two DVA dBTechnologies powered line arrays, each one including a DVA S10 single 18″ bandpass subwoofer flown at the top, with three T4 three-way elements below.

“The line array is extremely easy to deploy,” said Metro Audio’s Ed Whitney. “We used a DVA Ease Focus and a laser to sight in each element, which proved to work perfectly. The system’s itself is surprisingly efficient; we only needed to install one 20-amp circuit to power each array.”

“The entire mix of our seven-piece praise band, eight-voice praise team and 20-voice choir at the Resurrection Power Church are no problem for the new system,” said sound engineer, Keith Pickett. Pastor Culver confirmed, “The sound seems to be coming from everywhere.”
