Seal Beach, CA (June 17, 2019)—Leisure World Seal Beach (LWSB) is a nationally recognized southern California community offering all the amenities of a small town to active seniors. The resort-style setting includes a 2,500-seat outdoor amphitheater where a Clair Brothers kiTCurve12 loudspeaker system was recently installed.
The installation was tackled by Tim Metzger of TMAV Consulting & Integration and Ben Frederick of Production Access Group, who worked with a goal of creating an impactful system that had volume, clarity and musicality.
EASE modeling showed them that three Clair Brothers kiTCurve12s over a double 18-inch sub per side, driven by three Powersoft amps would deliver the goods for the installation. kiTCurve12 was chosen based on its size and sonic capabilities, and was placed on the wide horizontal position of the venue.
Once installed, on a tight timeline and within budget, Clair reports everyone was pleased by the coverage and how the sound hit the front row, remained in the seats and didn’t bleed out to the surrounding community. This removed the need for front fills or a center fill.
