Paris, France (June 15, 2011)—Community Loudspeakers are helping France’s Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral celebrate its 800th anniversary nightly. through October.
Every night, Dream of Colours, a high-definition light show recreates stages in the building of the cathedral and displays the intricate façade in all its original glowing colors. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991, the cathedral will host the show three times a night through October this year.
The Dream of Colours system consists of 16 Community Entasys line-array loudspeakers, supplemented by a half-dozen 18-inch subwoofers. Lab.gruppen amplifiers were selected to power the system, and DSP is provided by a Yamaha DME32.
