Orlando, FL (April 22, 2009)–LMG Touring recently delivered streaming, live audio, video and lighting for rapper Flo Rida’s record release party, currently viewable on mycontent.com.
Promoting his second album, R.O.O.T.S., Flo Rida partnered with mycontent.com and LMG Touring to stream a live concert across the internet. Flo Rida’s “Right Round” went to #1 on Billboard Hot 100 and sold a record-breaking 636,000 copies in its first week, setting a new record for single-week digital sales.
LMG Touring shot the show with three Thomson LDK 600 cameras running through a High Definition Switching System which uses a Snell & Wilcox Kahuna 2ME Switcher, providing a 1080i workflow. The company powered Flo Rida’s live stream with redundant LMG satellite streaming systems using Digital Rapid Stream Z encoders. The broadcast mix was created using a Digidesign VENUE Profile console and recorded to a fully integrated Pro Tools|HD system. Finally, LMG also augmented the club lighting to handle red carpet and spotlights for the stage.
