London, UK (March 3, 2014)—Due to an increasing demand by clients, radio microphone and in-ear monitor specialist supplier Hand Held Audio recently purchased an AKG DMS700 through Sound Technology, AKG’s UK and ROI distributor.
Recent rentals include a large system to a London hotel for a two-day event, staged by a major multi-national investment corporation. The 12-way AKG system comprised three DPT700 digital wireless bodypack transmitters, with CK77 lavalier microphone, and a DHT700 digital wireless handheld transmitter with D7 dynamic capsule; for a separate room they also supplied a further eight DPT700 with CK77.
“The systems were racked with AKG power hubs and antenna distribution, with the SRA-2W remote antennae,” said Hand Held Audio director Mick Shepherd. “The encryption facility on the DMS700 was key on this occasion.”
Around the same time, the company supplied a 6-way system to another client, to cover a flagship opening of a new corporate HQ in Manchester, with six DHT700 handheld transmitters with D7 dynamic capsules.
Hand Held then fulfilled an order for a 6-way AKG system (comprising three DPT700 with CK77, and three DHT700 with D7), racked with power and antenna distribution, to a London sustainable events venue to supplement the in-house facilities there.
