Harman Buys Duran Audio

Harman International has acquired Netherlands-based pro audio manufacturer Duran Audio BV. Founded in 1981, the company is best known for its AXYS range of loudspeakers, amplifiers, signal processors and network devices, including its Intellivox line of “steerable” columns.

Stamford, CT (October 18, 2013)—Harman International has acquired Netherlands-based pro audio manufacturer Duran Audio BV. Founded in 1981, the company is best known for its AXYS range of loudspeakers, amplifiers, signal processors and network devices, including its Intellivox line of “steerable” columns.
