ISP Gets Hands On At Rascals

et to open in November in a newly constructed wing of Albany’s Crossgates Mall, Rascals is an unusual proposition: a 16,000-square-foot music venue/high-end steakhouse. Sporting dining rooms, a lounge, three bars and a stage that will feature local, regional and national acts, Rascals is still under construction, but will be counting on a new audio system from ISP Technologies to make the most of its concert venue space.

Albany, NY (September 16, 2015)—Set to open in November in a newly constructed wing of Albany’s Crossgates Mall, Rascals is an unusual proposition: a 16,000-square-foot music venue/high-end steakhouse. Sporting dining rooms, a lounge, three bars and a stage that will feature local, regional and national acts, Rascals is still under construction, but will be counting on a new audio system from ISP Technologies to make the most of its concert venue space.

ISP Technologies, with ASE Service Group, will be providing all audio video components including video walls, installation and design work for the entire facility. ISP’s patented High Definition Distributed System and High Definition Line Arrays, subs and monitors will be used throughout the venue, including the 40-foot stage featuring a 20-foot video wall. The main bar will have a 12-foot video display with four 80-inch screens.

Getting hands on with Rascals, ISP’s owner himself, Buck Waller, is involved in the project, interfacing with Neil Pelone (NPARCH Architect), Buck Waller (ISP Technologies), Dan Arndt and Keith Burns (URI Construction) and John Foster (Katalyst Restaurant Design).
