Uppsala, Sweden (October 8, 2012)—Live sound provider Konsert Teknik recently added a Harman JBL VTX line array system to its inventory as its main PA.
Run by Mikael “Wibban” Viberg, Konsert Teknik has a lot of Harman gear already in stock, including Soundcraft’s Vi digital consoles and recently JBL VerTec line arrays with new V5 DSP tunings. But now it also has a 32-enclosure V25 rig and four VTX S28 subs as well as 60 Crown I-Tech 12000 HD amplifiers.
“It was essential to have the best PA system to support the acts that pass through the venues and stages of [Stockholm amusement park] Gröna Lund and Furuvik [just outside Gävle] during the summer season,” said Viberg. Both are major concert sites and Konsert Teknik aims to break the system down into two separate rigs, which will service the long seasons in both of these locations.
