L-Acoustics Powers PGA Concert Series

This year’s Greenbrier Classic Concert Series used an L-Acoustics K1 line source system, deployed by Cincinnati’s Loud & Clear, Inc.

Lewisburg, WV (August 6, 2012)—This year’s Greenbrier Classic Concert Series used an L-Acoustics K1 line source system, deployed by Cincinnati’s Loud & Clear, Inc.

Staged at the West Virginia State Fair Grounds, the concert series featured a PA setup of six K1-SB subs, 12 K1 and three Kara per side, complimented by two nine-Kudo hangs for far right and left audience coverage. A total of 32 SB28 subs, divided into four and ground-stacked in cardioid mode across the face of the stage, delivered the LF reinforcement, while six Kara spread out across the stage lip provided front-fill.

The concert serieswas held during the week-long PGA Tour Greenbrier Classic and featured performances by artists including Toby Keith, Rod Stewart and Bon Jovi. Anticipating a crowd of approximately 35,000 people per night, Loud & Clear set up four delay towers each featuring seven V-Dosc and four SB series subs to cover the crowd. Both FOH and delay systems were powered by L-Acoustics LA8 amplified controllers.
