Anaheim, CA (December 1, 2010)–Mackie and Ampeg (both owned by Loud Technologies) will share a new demo-room-only location at the 2011 Winter NAMM show, January 13-16, 2011.

In lieu of a booth on the show floor, both brands will hold new product presentations and artist performances/signings in demo rooms 209A & B. Visitors will also enjoy a free Wi-Fi connection and participate in a social media contest: “Play. Connect. Share.”

“We set out to create a demo-friendly environment that gives attendees a chance to play our gear, connect to the internet and easily share their experience,” remarks Loud’s VP of Marketing, Adrian Bell. “And through our ‘Play. Connect. Share’ social network contest, we will extend the NAMM experience to all Mackie and Ampeg fans worldwide.”

The new Mackie/Ampeg demo room will also provide a live stage for performances from top-flight artists like King’s X, Animals as Leaders and more. Artist autograph sessions will include Cliff Williams (AC/DC), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel), DuG Pinnick (King’s X) and more. Bass icon Stanley Clarke will appear in his first official event since signing on with Ampeg.
