Meyer Backs Montreal Jazz Fest

Meyer Sound was recently named the Official Sound Reinforcement Sponsor of this year's Montréal International Jazz Festiva. Montréal-based sound vendor Solotech will provide festival-wide audio support using a variety of Meyer Sound Systems, including a Leo linear large-scale sound reinforcement system for the festival’s largest stage, the Scène TD.

Berkeley, CA (June 28, 2013)—Meyer Sound was recently named the Official Sound Reinforcement Sponsor of this year’s Montréal International Jazz Festiva. Montréal-based sound vendor Solotech will provide festival-wide audio support using a variety of Meyer Sound Systems, including a Leo linear large-scale sound reinforcement system for the festival’s largest stage, the Scène TD.

The Montréal International Jazz Festival will span ten days starting
Friday June 28, featuring 3,000 artists. “Our main goal is to maximize the quality of the experience for every festival goer,” said André Ménard, artistic director for the festival. “Working with Solotech and Meyer Sound gives us a peace of mind in that respect. The combined expertise of their great teams never fails to make every stage of the festival sound great.”

This year, the 34th edition of the Montréal International Jazz Festival will present a dazzling array of musicians, including Wynton Marsalis, Wayne Shorter, Dr. John, Bill Frisell, Boz Scaggs, Buddy Guy, John Scofield, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Zakir Hussain, Lyle Lovett, Leon Russell, Joshua Redman, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Esperanza Spalding, John Abercrombie, Charles Lloyd, Ravi Coltrane, Rufus Wainwright, and Pink Martini.
