Murfreesboro, TN (August 15, 2016)—While it is considered primarily a concert and touring production company, Myers Concert Productions also tackles any number of corporate events with partner company, Springboard Audio/Video. A recent production for custom clothing company, Tom James, found Myers fielding a system FBT Mitus 206la loudspeakers.
“Corporate event planners want sound systems to be sleek, clean, and virtually invisible,” said DJ Myers, owner. “They also require the sound quality to be clear and evenly distributed from the front all the way to the back row. FBT speakers are the perfect solution for corporate events because of their small footprint, attractive design, and great sound.
“Another big advantage of the FBT boxes is weight, with some boxes weighing 10 or 15 pounds less than competitors. While 10 pounds might not seem like a lot, it quickly adds up when you are dealing with hotels and convention centers with ceiling weight limits. By shedding several hundred pounds, it allows us to add more PA, which gives us the ability to have better coverage and control in the room. All-in-all, we are extremely pleased with the Mitus series boxes for the features and high build quality they provide while still being available at a reasonable cost.”
Myers has provided sound for presidential candidate Marco Rubio’s campaign speeches and worked with such clients as NASCAR, Bush’s Beans, Verizon Wireless, and the University of Tennessee. His company also recently provided production for ESPN’s televised memorial service of NCAA Basketball Coach, Pat Summitt. Myers Concert Productions, along with Springboard Audio/Video, will continue doing a variety of corporate work in the future, including national conferences for Regal Cinemas and UT Medical.
