Gümbet, Turkey (June 28, 2013)—Club Sapphire in Turkey, recently installed One Systems loudspeakers in its new, 2,000-capacity, outdoor dance club.
Complementing the venue’s lighting, leather seating, multiple bars, DJ booth and dance floor are One Systems’ 103IM and 106IM speakers. Due to the club’s proximity to the Aegean Sea, the goal of the installation was to install completely weatherproof speakers that could handle the hot weather and humid sea air.
Audio installation company Akhan SES Isik Ve Gorsel Sistemler Tic of Istanbul, performed the system design and installation. Each speaker is mounted on the perimeter walls of the club using One Systems PT-10 pan and tilt brackets. In order to maintain even coverage throughout the outdoor club, each speaker location is precisely three meters apart.
“We have used One Systems speakers before and were very familiar with the installation process, as well as the quality of the speakers. The 103IM and 106IM speakers were perfect for the space, as they did not dominate the area, or appear obtrusive,” said Haluk Akgun, managing director of Akhan SES.
