Peavey, Crest Audio Rock Mayhem Tour

For the fifth consecutive year, Peavey Versarray line-array sound systems and Crest Audio power amplifiers are being used on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival, a touring metal and hard rock music festival on the road through August.

New York, NY (July 20, 2012)—For the fifth consecutive year, Peavey Versarray line-array sound systems and Crest Audio power amplifiers are being used on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival, a touring metal and hard rock music festival on the road through August.

The Peavey Versarry 212 is the exclusive sound system of the Jägermeister Mobile Stage, using twin arrays of 10 Versarray 212 enclosures per side and 16 Versarray 218 subwoofers. Each Versarray 212 is outfitted with two 12-inch Black Widow woofers, four planar ribbon drivers and 10 midrange drivers. Jägermeister Mobile Stage Road and Production Manager Dave Summers said the use of the Versarray 212 “is a big leap forward for sound reinforcement technology. It’s the ideal system for modern touring situations.”

The Versarray line-array system is managed by Peavey Architectural Acoustics Digitool processors and powered by 24 Crest Audio Pro 9200 amplifiers and six Pro 8200 amps. A combination of six Crest Audio Pro 9200, four Pro 8200 and four Pro 7200 amps provide power for the stage’s Peavey QW monitoring rig.

“We have used the Peavey Versarray line array since we debuted the Jägermeister Mobile Stage in 2007, and we couldn’t be happier with the performance and sound quality,” said Jack Carson, Director of Event Marketing at Jägermeister. “The Rockstar Mayhem Festival has grown even bigger this year, so we’re bringing an even bigger and louder Versarray sound system to the fans.”
