Milwaukee, WI (March 15, 2012)—Clearwing Productions recently provided audio for a North American tour by a band from Down Under that only plays music by a specific band from the United Kingdom. The act in question was The Australian Pink Floyd Show.

Taking the concept of a tribute act to the extreme, the band has played in 35 countries, selling more than 3 million tickets in the process; Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour himself hired the band to play at his 50th birthday party.

For the U.S. tour, Clearwing provided a DiGiCo D5 for FOH engineer Colin Norfield and a D8 for monitor man Sammy Murphy. An L-Acoustics V-Dosc rig bolstered by SB218 subs handled the house sound, augmented by Martin Audio F1s for quadraphonic sound effects. Monitors were handled with L-Acoustics HiQ FM boxes and Sennheiser G3 IEM systems. Powering all that were amplifiers from Lab.gruppen and Crown Audio.
