Camarillo, CA (December 14, 2012)—Rat Sound Systems recently added two additional Midas Pro 2s to its inventory for its touring schedule.
The two Midas Pro 2 consoles are in addition to the company’s existing Midas Pro 6, Pro 9 and XL8s that have been used on a variety of productions and tours already.
“We had been receiving many requests for a great smaller console from several tours and the Midas Pro 2 fitted that description,” explained Rat Sound’s head of touring, Jon Monson about the decision to add to the inventory.
Dave Rat added, “We, at Rat, are very excited to be filling out our Midas digital console inventory with the addition of yet another pair of Pro 2’s to complement our recently acquired XL 8 and inventory of Pro 9 and Pro 6 consoles. We continue to see a growing demand for the full range of Midas digital consoles from many of our clients and the smaller format Pro 2, provides an excellent solution for small to medium events, as well as support acts on major tours.”
Throughout the year, the Midas Pro series consoles have been seen on many of Rat Sound’s US tours including the Midas Pro 9 for Pearl Jam’s monitor engineer Karrie Keyes, the Pro6 on Blink 182, Dispatch and Ed Sharpe and, most recently, the newly acquired Pro 2 on Xavier Rudd.
