Renkus-Heinz Names Anthony President

Renkus-Heinz has appointed Roscoe Anthony to the position of president, during what is reported as a period of “unprecedented progress” for the California company.

Orange County, CA (September 3, 2014)—Renkus-Heinz has appointed Roscoe Anthony to the position of president, during what is reported as a period of “unprecedented progress” for the California company.

“Renkus-Heinz is one of a handful legendary companies that has paved the foundations of professional audio,” says Anthony. “I’m honored to be joining the organization at such an auspicious time and I look forward to helping guide the company to a path of even greater growth and success,” he adds, referring to Renkus-Heinz’ continued growth in sales and an expansion of its engineering staff even through the recent economic downturn. His new position will have Anthony working closely with company founder and chairman Harro Heinz (seen here, right, with Anthony).

Acknowledging Anthony’s resume, Heinz comments: “Roscoe brings with him an extraordinarily wide-ranging skillset, with deep expertise in business, marketing, and manufacturing, along with a powerful grasp of today’s complex technologies.”

In his previous role as president of Califone – a title he held for 12 years – Anthony contributed to a period of record growth for the provider of audio and multimedia solutions for education, including a transition of the company’s product lines (headsets, media players and equipment for education) from analog to digital. His resume also includes stints as Division Manager for pro audio manufacturer Tascam, as well as executive positions at JBL Professional and SKB. Anthony also has experience as an advertising executive, presiding over ad agency Reeds & Farris, where he was at one time named one of the “Top 100 People in Advertising” by Advertising Age magazine.

Anthony will be filling a post that has remained vacant since Scott Leslie’s departure last summer.
