Taking Kraftklub Sound To Arenas

German concert sound provider Complete Audio has been on the road since February supporting punk-rap act Kraftklub, providing sound in 5,000-12,000 seat venues with a Martin Audio MLA system

Berlin, Germany (April 10, 2015)—German concert sound provider Complete Audio has been on the road since February supporting punk-rap act Kraftklub, providing sound in 5,000-12,000 seat venues with a Martin Audio MLA system

Building on its platinum-selling debut album, Mit K, to tour with its follow-up, In Schwarz, the five-piece has been putting on dynamic shows, according to Nils Uhthoff, Complete Audio’s system engineer: “For the powerful sound of Kraftklub, we are using a 20-box Martin Audio MLA system and four MLD Downfills, which are an important part of the MLA system.” The two downfills, which are hung at the base, reportedly increase the efficiency of the multi-cellular array set-up because they can provide up to 50 ft. of throw in the first rows.

A total of 14 Martin Audio MLX provide low frequency extension. Any delay positions and necessary outfills are handled by up to 20 additional MLA Compact elements.“With the Martin Audio DISPLAY 2 software, I can change the angle of the PA in each venue as necessary, to achieve the best audio for the audience,“ concludes Uhthoff. “The software supports me perfectly in every hall calculation. At Complete Audio, we have challenged ourselves on this tour to ensure every note is right, and the Martin Audio MLA technology fulfills that goal perfectly.”
