Purkersdorf, Austria (March 4, 2014)—Freelance audio mixer Lukas Zilka recently purchased a Harman Soundcraft Si Expression 3 mixing console to help with the numerous live concerts, press conferences, and other events his company, Live Productions – Event Services, puts on throughout the year.
Zilka manages audio for some of the nation’s top balls, including the “Bonobonball” (Candy Ball) in Vienna, and it was his previous experience with the Soundcraft GB8 analog console installed at that venue that led him to get the Si Expression 3.
“I mix children’s plays for one of my regular clients, which is a local community church, and as the performance group expanded over the years and became increasingly professional, I needed more outputs and more faders, so when I saw the Si Expression 3, I knew my search had come to an end,” Zilka said.
The Soundcraft Si Expression 3 features 30+2 faders along with flexible onboard and expansion I/O options. The console also has a EMMA DSP processor, and comes with built-in FX engines.
