Academy Award–winning actor George Clooney stopped into 38 Greene Studios in New York City to put the finishing touches on a short documentary he shot during a recent trip to the war-torn Darfur region of Sudan. Clooney—along with his father, Nick, a former television news anchor—took a 10-day trip to the region to document the atrocities currently happening within the African nation.

“The editors needed to record the final narration and so our friends at The Post Factory gave us a call,” says 38 Greene’s studio manager, Kate Lowery. Head engineer Casey Chester worked closely with Clooney. “[Clooney] had explained to me about the genocide going on in the Darfur region. I was shocked by the images, and the stories were just heartbreaking.”
