Alcons’ LR18 compact line array
During this year’s Prolight + Sound trade show in Frankfurt, Germany, April 5-8, 2016, Alcons Audio, based in The Netherlands, will introduce its LR18 compact line array, LR28 larger format line array, BC543 cardioid subwoofer and ALControl software program in Booth B50, Hall 3.1.
With the new LR18 compact mid-size line array, Alcons is introducing a symmetrical design also in the compact range. The three-way system promises a flat frequency response to beyond 20 kHz. and combines high sound quality with high SPL capabilities and throw.
Alcons’ LR28 larger format line array
The LR28 larger format line array is the LR18’s “bigger brother.” Featuring the company’s proprietary RBN1404rsr 14-inch, 3,000W pro-ribbon, the 4-way LR28 promises new benchmarks for throw, projection control and non-distorted linear sound response in any application for any size audience.
Alcons’ BC543 cardioid subwoofer
The BC543 cardioid subwoofer is the low frequency extension in the LR18/LR28 package. The three 18-inch carbon fiber woofers are said to create a sonically accurate, powerful low-frequency impact, while canceling the sub frequencies behind the cabinet with up to 40 dB.
ALControl is Alcons’ proprietary software program for configuring, controlling and monitoring individual or multiples of Sentinel amplified loudspeaker controllers, that can be accessed from anywhere within a network with a quick set-up and fully intuitive operation.
