For a recent Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Auralex recommended its new AudioTile and assisted the crew during the installation of the product in a vocal recording booth. Auralex’s Brian Wheat spent two days in Seattle working on the project.
“One of their design team members was familiar with one of our products commonly used in professional recording studios,” says Tracy Chandler, director of sales and marketing for Auralex. “After a quick introduction to AudioTile, the designer knew it had the kind of eye-catching, high-end appeal they were looking for. The AudioTile product that we feature on the show is part of our new pArtScience product line that blends art and science together. AudioTile absorbs echoes and other unwanted sound reflections, which is key to producing high-quality, accurate sound. AudioTile is a designer’s dream, as well, because it is available in the widest variety of custom patterns on the market.”
“To be involved with a show like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is a great opportunity for a company like ours to strengthen our visibility with the general public,” Wheat says. “It was an unforgettable experience just to be a part of such an enormous undertaking and such an incredibly generous gesture for a deserving family.”
