Avid will showcase the latest audio additions to the Avid MediaCentral Platform at a series of events in Nashville, Tennessee. On August 27 and 28, veteran sound engineer and Avid senior market specialist Robert Scovill will host demos on Avid Artist Suite live sound solutions at Blackbird Academy Live, located at 3318 Ambrose Avenue, Nashville, TN 37207.
Scovill boasts more than 3,000 live show mixing credits, including tours with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Rush, Prince, and Def Leppard.
On August 27 and 28, at 5 p.m., Scovill will present “Meet the new VENUE | S6L.”
On August 27 and 28 at 6 p.m., Avid will offer VENUE | S3L-X hands-on training.

On Saturday, August 29, Avid will showcase the latest Avid Artist Suite pro mixing consoles, Avid Pro Tools | S6 and Avid Pro Tools | S3 at Mix Nashville at Clair Global. Avid will also showcase the latest version of Pro Tools, which delivers advanced recording workflows and grater stability, and Pro Tools | Control, a free iOS app that enables artists to take wireless remote control of audio and video tools including Pro Tools and Media Composer.
Scovill will also give demos of Avid VENUE | S6L at Blackbird Studios throughout the day.
