Aviom selected Andy Jones of Winchester, Calif., as the winner of its “Take It Personal…and Take It Home!” personal mixing system giveaway drawing held during Winter NAMM 2007.
Jones, who has been a sound engineer for several churches during the past nine years, has decided to donate his awarded system (valuing approximately $5,000) to Chorus Church, a three-year-old congregation based in French Valley, Calif. The system will be used by the church praise team twice every Sunday during worship celebrations.
“This is awesome!” Jones said upon learning of his selection. “I’ve been talking with our pastor about the benefits of the Aviom system for over two years, but, as with many young churches, we just haven’t had enough funding. This system is something we desperately needed and I am very grateful to have won. Thank you, Aviom!”
