Axia Audio announced that Prophet Systems (www.prophetsys.com), makers of the NexGen Digital Broadcasting automation system, has become their latest audio delivery system provider.
As part of the partnership agreement, Prophet will license the Axia IP-Audio Driver for their NexGen application software, allowing their workstations and servers to send multiple channels of real-time uncompressed digital audio over the Axia network — without PC soundcards. Additionally, Prophet Systems will offer Axia audio networking devices for resale when bundled along with NexGen system packages.
In addition, Washington-based audio equipment supplier, Broadcast Supply Worldwide (www.bswusa.com), has signed on as Axia Audio representatives.
