Behringer MS40, MS20

Behringer MS40

Behringer has announced the MS40 and MS20 stereo near-field monitors.

The MS40s feature a 2×20-watt built-in amplifier and 24-bit/192 kHz D/A converters, which let you connect digital sources directly in order to eliminate analog line-loss and hum. Optical and coaxial inputs accept most digital audio formats. The monitors feature two stereo analog inputs with 1/8-inch TRS and stereo RCA connectors that can be used simultaneously or mixed with a digital stereo source. The speakers also feature individual volume controls for both Line inputs plus Bass and Treble EQ controls, and there is a 1/4-inch TRS headphone connector with a front-panel auto-mute loudspeaker function.

The MS20s offer the same features as the MS40s, with the exception of a 2×10-watt built-in amplifier, versus the MS40’s 2x20W.

The MS40 and MS20 near-fields will be available Q2 2005. For more information, visit www.behringer.com.
