CBS Television City in Studio City, Calif., purchased six Bag End INFRAsub-18 PRO self-powered subwoofers, which will be installed in various post-production rooms and P.A. setups.
The INFRAsub-18 PRO, which incorporates Bag End’s INFRA bass signal processor and a 400-amp onboard amp, can produce a flat response down to 8 Hz. The pro model contains an input card offering six inputs and five highpass filter outputs. In addition, an INFRA slave output is calibrated to the internal amplifier for additional speaker modules. A remote threshold indicator allows the dynamic filter to be to be monitored remotely from the bridge of the console. Polarity and 10dB attenuator switches allow for fine-tuning adjustments and integration to the upper-range speaker systems.
