FTR, Celestion’s next generation of cast-aluminium chassis professional loudspeakers are now shipping to dealers worldwide.

The FTR Series features low thermal compression, enabling heat to be conducted rapidly away from the voice coil assembly; low distortion, using magnet structure, evolutionary voice coil construction and an optimized chassis design; and high power, enabling up to 1000Wrms (AES standard). This level of power handling requires a large voice coil, which in turn demands a substantial magnet. The cast aluminium chassis is robust enough to support a larger magnet and has been designed to dissipate more heat away from the voice coil.
