Rap star Common (pictured at right) chose Studio B at The Village Recording Studios in West Los Angeles to preview his latest release, Finding Forever, to record label executives. With assistance from engineer Noel Zancanella (pictured at left), Common also introduced Japanese clients to his seventh full-length album and conducted interviews with the Japanese press.
Common is enjoying the first Number One album of his 14-year career with Finding Forever, which was released July 31 on Geffen. The album debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 with 155,000 copies sold in the U.S. in the first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It features a guest appearance by Lily Allen and production by Kanye West.
