Crest Performance recently introduced the CPM 2462 (pictured), a 16-channel desktop/rackmountable mixer designed with quiet circuitry and I-PRO mic inputs suitable for both studio and live audio applications. The CPM 2462 is now available for $1,599.99 (MSRP).
The CPM 2462 mixer features 16 channel strips with ultralow-noise I-PRO XLR mic inputs for handling a wide variety of inputs in various jobs. This mixer also features EQ, pan, aux and group assign controls, plus four input channel configurations. Its wedge design allows it to be used on a desktop or it can be rackmounted.
The CPM 2462 has eight extra line inputs (for a total of 24) that can be used as mono inputs or paired with channels 9 through 16. These extra inputs can also be assigned to their own stereo sub group and then routed to auxes or main subgroups.
Additional features include 60mm faders on channel strips and buses; mute, clip LED and signal-present LED on all channel strips; six aux outputs (two balanced XLR); PFL on all input channels and subgroups; bank-switchable phantom power (channels 1 through 2 and 3 through 16); and more.
