Holophone, a division of Rising Sun Productions Ltd., and DPA Microphones announced that DPA is now the exclusive provider of microphone elements for the recently introduced Holophone H2-PRO Surround Sound mic and any similar products.
“We are very pleased to reach this agreement with our friends at DPA Microphones,” commented Michael Godfrey, president of Holophone. “We tested a number of different omni microphones before selecting DPAs for our first professional product. This agreement ensures that DPA 4060s will be the factory-installed option for our new H2-PRO Surround Sound mic.”
According to Morten Stove, founder and CEO of DPA, “By becoming the exclusive provider of microphones to Holophone for the H2-PRO product, we extend our reach directly into a product designed specifically for the recording of surround sound.”
