EastWest has posted free updates for its Play audio engine software, as well as its Voices of Passion and Ministry of Rock virtual instruments, on the company’s Website. The updates (Play Version 1.0.021 and Instruments V. 1.02) are available for both Mac and Windows platforms in both stand-alone and plug-in versions.
Quantum Leap Voices of Passion GUI
With this update, all installed versions of the Play virtual instruments (Fab Four, Quantum Leap Voices of Passion, Quantum Leap Gypsy and Quantum Leap Ministry of Rock) will be automatically upgraded to the latest version of the sample engine.
In addition, EastWest is offering free downloadable tutorials for its new Ministry of Rock and Voices of Passion collections. The tutorials provide an in-depth overview of the virtual instruments and the Play software. Ministry of Rock and Voices of Passion creator and composer Nick Phoenix gives visitors an inside tour of the collections’ interfaces and the capabilities of its instruments.
