EAW and Mackie announce the L3 Tour, which kicks off on July 11, 2016 and runs through Labor Day, showcasing the companies’ end-to-end audio system designed for production and system integration. EAW’s RADIUS Series Network-Enabled Powered Loudspeakers and the Mackie AXIS Digital Mixing System (all prices TBA) are designed to work together to speed up setup time, reduce system costs and deliver a faster, more intuitive workflow.
EAW’s new RADIUS loudspeaker line harnesses cutting edge technologies typically reserved for the most extreme applications in intuitive designs built for simplicity. Smart features like array self-detection and optimization are said to drastically cut down on setup and tuning time. The new EAWmosaic app provides total system optimization from anywhere in a venue, plus intuitive room design and prediction in a single, comprehensive application. With the proven sonic performance of EAW’s acoustic design and DSP mastery plus full Dante integration across the line, RADIUS promises an intelligent and flexible system that’s easy to use, saves time and is priced to meet varied budget levels.

Mackie AXIS Mixing System
The Mackie AXIS Digital Mixing System serves professional production and installations. With full Dante interoperability, the modular AXIS system combines the 32-channel DL32R rackmount digital mixer and DC16 control surface to deliver an efficient live sound solution. It includes a number of large high-resolution channel ID screens while the SmartBridge handles up to three iPad devices for even more visual feedback. SmartBridge automatically senses when an iPad is in place, enabling intelligent surface-to-wireless mixing. This allows the Master Fader app to instantly adapt to the intended work environment and revert back to its previous mode when placed back in the SmartBridge. The system also includes flexible 32×32 recording and a selection of DSP.
