Fishman has released the new Ellipse Blend system, which complements Acoustic-Matrix or Powerjack-equipped guitars, adding blending capabilities without visibly modifying the instrument; the Ellipse Blend is mounted inside the instrument’s sound hole.
“We have created the Ellipse Blend system in response to customer requests to add blending capabilities and volume control to several of our popular under-saddle guitar pickups in an onboard format,” said Jason Cambra, Fishman’s COO.
The Ellipse Blend’s condenser mini-microphone features volume, blend and phase controls. The system is 9-volt battery-operated (sharing power with Acoustic Matrix preamp) and fits most round soundholes.
