GIK Acoustics introduces the Tri-Trap bass trap, which was tested at the Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories. The company states that Tri-Trap absorbs frequencies at 50 Hz and below, and that although it was designed to absorb lower frequencies, it also absorbs higher frequencies, creating smooth sound absorption from 50 to 5,000 Hz.
The portable, stackable Tri-Trap fits into corners for maximum sound absorption, measures 2×4 feet and is available in off-white and black. The Tri-Trap is sold in sets of two. For a limited time, GIK Acoustics is offering a special introductory price of $129 per unit ($258 for the set of two).
