Hear Technologies is now shipping the Mix Back ($2,495) monitor mixer, which is designed to reside at the stage, providing 16 inputs, passive mic split, 4-band EQ and 16 channels of analog, Hearbus and ADAT output simultaneously.
The Mix Back is a 16-input, rack-mountable monitor mixer configured as 16x12x2x2. With two stereo and 12 mono analog outputs, ADAT and Hear Bus outputs, it can be used with the Hear Back personal monitor system. The Mix Back can also be employed at home as a stand-alone monitor mixer. A talkback mic preamp permits talking to any or all “more me” master outputs and the intercom output. The optional 16-button remote ($139.95) connects using a standard Cat-5E cable.
